- How do I buy a piece?
- Open the piece you want and tap "Buy this piece". Tell us where it's going and we'll confirm it's yours, work out the postage and send you the total. Nothing is charged when you submit the form.
- How do I pay?
- Bank transfer or PayID once we've confirmed your order and sent you the total. Collecting in Sydney? You can pay cash when you pick it up. We never see or store card details.
- Is the piece held while I wait to hear back?
- Yes. As soon as your order comes through the piece is reserved and taken off sale, so nobody else can buy it while we sort out the details. We reply within a few hours.
- How much is postage?
- It depends where you are - usually from $15 within Australia. We work out the exact cost once we can see your address and tell you before you pay anything. We charge it at cost and don't mark it up.
- Can I return something if I change my mind?
- We don't offer change-of-mind returns - every piece is one of a kind, so once it's sold it's out of the collection. If a piece arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or isn't what was described, tell us straight away and we'll make it right. That's your right under Australian Consumer Law and we stand behind it.
- What if it doesn't fit?
- Ask before you buy. Message us with your measurements and we'll tell you honestly whether a piece will work - we'd much rather talk you out of something than have it not fit. Most pieces have adjustable ties or drawstrings, and we'll tell you which do.
- Are the pieces new or worn?
- Some are new, some have been hired out before and are in excellent condition. We'll always tell you which before you buy, and any mark or repair is mentioned up front. Ask and we'll send extra photos.
- Can I still hire instead of buying?
- Yes - every piece is available to hire as well. It's $40 for 3 days with dry cleaning included. Message us with the piece and your date and we'll hold it for you.
- Do I need to dry clean a hired piece before returning it?
- No. Cleaning is included in the hire price. Wear it, dance in it, and return it as-is.
- Is there a bond on hires?
- Yes, a refundable bond of $50 is taken at pickup and returned once the outfit comes back in good condition. It covers accidents, not normal wear. There's no bond when you buy a piece outright.
- Can I see it in person first?
- Yes. We're based in Sydney and you're welcome to come and look at a piece, or try it on, before you commit either way. Message us and we'll sort out a time.
- Do you post outside Sydney?
- Yes - sydney metro - pickup, or australia-wide postage. We send tracked, and we'll pass the tracking number on as soon as it's posted.
- Do you buy or take outfits on consignment?
- We're always looking for beautiful pieces. If you have something worth sharing, message us at @rent_the_razzle with photos and we'll take a look.
